“ We've been here before for dinner and was absolutely amazing! So this time we came back for brunch and they definitely did not disappoint. Food was incredible! I had the select Benedict. The eggs were perfectly poached! I had a peach mimosa to drink and it came in a larger glass so I was able to enjoy it through my whole meal. My husband had the beef short rib hash and it was very flavorful and a large portion. It definitely filled him up and he couldn't quite finish it. We saw several meals come through the pass that looked mouth-wateringly delicious! Service was very good and not rushed so we were able to relax and enjoy our time there. I love the interior decor. It is sophisticated and yet still comfortable and relaxing. I absolutely love the bar area! ”

“ I was pleasantly surprised upon entering The Select. A spacious dining room and very large bar area overwhelms you as you enter as well as lots of windows and lots of light streaming in from busy Meeting Street. Oh boy! ...the server just set down the yogurt parfait and additional side of fruit. Love..Love ...Love!! Service is friendly and efficient ensuring your visit is super duper and not your ordinary brisk in and out type of experience. Jacelyn D. was wonderful and helpful . Will return! “ Celebrated my birthday at The Select. First, I loved the atmosphere. Great decor and elegant. Our appetizers were the home made Fresh Baguette with salted European butter and the hot blue crab dip. The bread was fresh and delicious. Make sure you add a little butter on it. YUM!!! The crab dip was creamy with lumps of crab meat. The braised short rib and steak frites were delicious. Short rib and steak were tender, full of flavor and cooked perfectly. Our waiter Lucas was amazing. He made my birthday dinner experience very special. Thank you Lucas!! “ We came to The Select for Sunday brunch a few weeks ago. The restaurant itself was fairly large, clean, and nicely decorated. There is a parking garage around the corner, and the hostess will validate your parking for up to 2 hours which is wonderful! The service was excellent as well. As for food, I think next time I would try something different than the burger. It was just very heavy for me for brunch. There were 2 patties and it came with a hefty portion of truffle fries. I think there was just too much going on for me between the sauce, cheese, crispy onions, etc. All in all, I would definitely return and would be interested in trying something from their dinner menu. ”
“ I met a group of friends for happy hour at the bar in early December. We had drinks and a couple of appetizers (I tried the arancini and a couple of oysters). The wine list was decent in that there were some interesting options. The bar was decorated for the holidays, giving a festive atmosphere. The service was reasonably attentive. The owner/manager stopped by our table and shared lots of stories about his background, as well as details about the restaurant. We learned that the select has a special reservations line for locals. That's a nice touch in a city that can be hard to book with lots of visitors. IYKYK. ”
“ We went here the other night and had a very enjoyable experience. The owner even came over and sat with us for a while. We had made a reservation and were promptly seated. Our table was a four top near the middle of the dining room but didn't seem overly "trafficy". I started with a Manhattan, my wife had a very unique cocktail served in a bird glass, and my adult son had an Old Fashioned. We had two wonderful appetizers (Lobster Arancini and the Gambas Al Ajillo) and followed by salads and entrees (a Wedge, a Caesar, Glazed Salmon, Miso Grouper, and Pasta Primavera with Lobster). All were A-MA-ZING... We'll be back. Thank you for a nice evening. ”
“ We visited The Select on a Saturday evening, having made a reservation in advance. The interior was beautifully decorated, especially the bar, which featured gorgeous hanging flowers. I was excited that their drink menu featured some non-alcoholic wines, and got the N/A Sparkling Rose. It was so tasty and refreshing, and truly tasted like the real deal! We also started with two dozen Oysters to share between the three of us. I loved that their mignonette and hot sauce came in little glass bottles with pipettes, and all the Oysters tasted super fresh. We ordered a bunch more items to share - the Lobster Arancini, Roasted Mushrooms, Peruvian Ceviche, Squash & Burrata, Hot Blue Crab Dip, and Miso Golden Tilefish. The Squash & Burrata and were my two favorites, but everything was really good. Portion sizes were generally small, so we were able to finish all the food with no leftovers. For dessert, we got the Sticky Toffee Pudding, which was so rich and delicious, without being too decadent. Service was friendly and relatively quick. Overall, awesome for dinner! ”
“ A few friends and I decided to try The Select on a Thursday, ladies night! We had heard mixed reviews and are happy to report this place gets 5 stars from us. We ordered drinks, mine being an apple drink off their specials menu. It was absolutely delicious and the candied ginger on top was perfect. The appetizers were all so great. The lobster arincini, chicken drumsticks (dreaming of the sauce they were in), truffle fries and the drool worthy baguette were ordered and I highly recommend all of them. The baguette are what dreams are made of and I'd like one everyday with the house made salted butter. My entree, the short rib, was beautiful. So tender. The creamiest potatoes I've ever had and vegetable medley were a great addition. I sampled the dishes my friends ordered and had no complaints! While drinking coffee and browsing the dessert menu, a friend at our table had a medical emergency. The whole restaurant was incredibly helpful. We had a doctor there and a table full of nurses right next to us! After EMS took my friend out to the ambulance with one friend, the other two of us stayed inside to pay our bill. The lovely women at the table next to us hurried us out to be with our I'll friend and said they'd pay our bill. That was unexpected and so kind. I reached out to them after (via IG) and thanked the restaurant for their help that evening. They responded promptly and with a wonderful response. I cannot wait to go back (sans emergency!) ”
